A Student and wannabe Web Designer, living on the outskirts of the 'mighty' Forest of Dean, UK. In the spare time I have between studying, if I'm not coding a website, I'm designing one. If I'm not designing a website, I'm probably having a break through Facebook, Twitter, making music or hanging with my mates!
Here you'll find all my creative work. But thats to be expected! In more detail, I've been a user of Photoshop, HTML, CSS and PHP for roughly 5 years and have been loving every second of it.
Rather than further distracting you from the reason why you're here, I'll let you get on with it. Please, enjoy checking my work out, and if you have any questions, or you’d like to hire me, get in touch through the contact form or even through the links below.
Thanks.

Originally, this project started out as a mock-up design for a redesign for this website. However, I was approached by a colleague looking for a simply, clean yet effective design for an online community site.
Very few changes have been made from the original mock-up, as the client was very pleased with the original attempt.

This design was created as part of a challenge a friend of mine set me, which was born out of previous work I had done. The challenge comprised of making a design for a blogging website for a ficticious client called "Fancis James". The main themes behind the project would be green energy and the environment.
The majority of the time was spent polishing the details and fine-tuning the exact layout with the basics taking 30 minutes at most.
I personally believe the banner could be improved, although it was not changed as filling it with more content made the design look over-crowded and unorganised.

Along with the Francis James Blog design, this was created after being set a challenge by a colleague after being provided with T-Shirt designs to work with. The aim of this project was to create a design suitable for a start-up T-Shirt Designing company, who sell the T-Shirts directly to the customer after printing them.
I plan to code this project eventually, specifically the T-Shirt Application included in the bottom right hand corner to further my flash skills.

This design was created initially as a temporary website before I made the current one.
I was relatively happy with it, as it was made fairly fast.
The final, live, design used deviantART's 'stickies' for the gallery content, using basic PHP to manipulate this. Now however, I would change this, and use Javascript to manipulate it without having to reload the page.

As part of AS Media Studies, I was given a task to create a DVD Cover for a film, which could be based on anything (besides an already made film). I chose to do a film based on the popular computer game, Left 4 Dead.
Here, all Photography (with aid from a friend at Sixthform) is original, as is all the content (besides the 'Dolby Digital', Certificate Rating and 'No Copy' logos).
The blood shown in the image is a combonation of home-made fake blood and Photoshop.

This is a temporary logo for my previous personal website.
Time Taken: 1 Hour est.
This logo was created alongside the Blog Design shown in the Web Design category. This was created using Adobe Illustrator and was my first real work in the program.
The theme of the environment was captured through the use of greens and the leaf shaped used. The one variation includes electricity to try and incorparate the green energy theme, although, the more simple version was eventually decided upon.

This is a concept of a possible drinks logo (to go on the label). The idea behind it is to be 'fun' and 'exciting' attempting to make a healthy drink, with a high concentration of real fruit juice, aimed at a younger audience. The idea behind this is to try and get the younger audience to drink more healthy drinks (namely 'FREWTS' Juice).

This photo is the first in a series of images which were taken on a relatively simple 6.0 Megapixel camera by 'Premier' during my stay in London back in 2007. During a look through all my photos I found this, and decided to see what I could do to it and heres the end product.
After creating this, the process was retraced and an action was created for further uses.

Time is ticking, Falling futher away A place once known, a place now lost controlling of anger, conforming of ideals taking the easy option, not what is right. listening to the voice inside my head it takes the best of me over and again my heart so empty, my brain so dead this disease making it over and again past experiences stopping my tred it takes the best of me over and again my heart so empty, my brain so dead this disease making it over... and again. The clock has stopped, my life is still Inhuman emotions, i have no trust controlling of anger, conforming of ideals a dream i'm in, this dream of lust. listening to the voice inside my head it takes the best of me over and again my heart so empty, my brain so dead this disease making it over and again past experiences stopping my tred it takes the best of me over and again my heart so empty, my brain so dead this disease making it over... and again.
Venture into my dream, Welcome the unforeseen, A place unknown, A journey alone. Move through, so swift Not once, this myth, Nightmare to behold This dream, so cold. Confusing message, Dark passage, Decisions to make A real mistake. Slow down, realise Time passing, demise. A place to end, A place to mend.
A tingling sensation that nobody likes. To sit in a minefield, with nothing but thoughts. You take a step, Your mind is caught. Its just another warning.
A feeling amongst confusion, A life amonst stone. Do I dare feed the creature? Or tame it as my own? A thorn in my side, takes a nasty toll. The boil on my skin, another imperfection. As things go, they take there place, amongst a mystery of memories. Behold.
To have you fall asleep in my arms To hold you safe and secure To give you some security, Taking away your tears Taking away your fears Replacing them with memories Memories with meaning Memories which surround you Memories which give you importance Importance that is love.
